Hitman Sniper is a mobile game released in 2015 by Square Enix Montréal. Basically, in this game, you play as Agent 47, a silent assassin who uses a sniper rifle to take down his targets. Most missions happen inside a luxury mansion in Montenegro, where many people gather. The best part of the game is how smooth it feels. The controls are very easy. You can easily swipe the screen to target, pinch to zoom, and tap to shoot.

Another strength is the freedom the game gives you. You can finish missions in different ways. You can go for a direct headshot, or use things around the mansion, like making explosions or distractions. This creative style keeps you thinking about new approaches each time. The mansion feels lively, with guards and guests moving around. The sound design is excellent. Gunshots feel powerful, and you can even hear footsteps and background chatter. These details make the game more immersive.

According to reviews, many people have enjoyed the variety of different riffles. As you play, you unlock new rifles and upgrades. You can improve things like reload speed, power, or even gain special abilities such as shooting through glass. Missions also vary. Some are simple, while others require more planning with multiple objectives. This variety helps keep the game interesting. However, the game also has some weaknesses. Most missions take place in the same mansion, and after a while, it feels repetitive. Guards and guests often follow the same paths, so once you learn their routine, surprises are rare.

Still, what makes Hitman Sniper stand out is its style. You study your target, wait for the right moment, and then strike. That slow, methodical play fits the Hitman series perfectly. Square Enix has also added extras, such as the Death Valley zombie mode and seasonal events. These provide brief breaks from the main missions, but the core sniper gameplay remains the main attraction.

How to play

Step 1: Learn the basic controls. Drag your finger to target, pinch the screen to zoom in, and tap to fire. If you’re playing on a bigger screen or emulator, the mouse works the same way.

Step 2: Don’t rush. Before pulling the trigger, watch how guards and targets move. Everyone has a routine. Some guards chat, others patrol, and guests wander around the mansion.

Step 3: You don't always have to go for a direct headshot. Look around for items such as glass panels, car alarms, or gas tanks. Shooting these can cause accidents or distractions that make your job easier.

Step 4: Plan your shots carefully. If you shoot at the wrong moment, other guards may see it and raise an alarm. Headshots are quick and quiet, but sometimes it’s smarter to wait for your target to walk into the perfect spot.

Step 5: Keep an eye on ammo. Bullets are limited. Always keep track of how many you have left and reload at safe moments. Running out of ammo in the middle of a mission can ruin your plan.

Step 6: Upgrade your rifle. As you finish missions, you'll unlock new rifles and upgrades. These can grant you special abilities, such as the ability to shoot through glass or hold your breath longer.

Step 7: Focus on mission goals. Each mission comes with objectives. Sometimes it’s just taking out one target, but often you’ll need to eliminate multiple people. If you complete these goals, you will unlock rewards and the game will remain interesting.
